About the Groundswell/Empowered blog

This blog is intended for readers interested in social applications and technology empowerment inside and outside companies, as we have described in out books Empowered and Groundswell. The blog is part of the Forrester Research blog collection.

This blog has evolved over the 5+ years we've been publishing it.

• Charlene Li started it in 2004.
• We rebranded it "Groundswell" in 2007 prior to publishing the book of the same name. Co-author Josh Bernoff became a contributor.
• Josh took over the blog in 2008 when Charlene Li left Forrester Research.
• We rebranded the blog "Empowered" in 2010 prior to publishing the book of the same name. Co-author Ted Schadler became a contributor.
