Upcoming Forrester search marketing bootcamp

I'll be hosting a Forrester boot camp, "The Essentials Of Search Marketing" in our Cambridge, MA offices on Wednesday, April 13th. Update: I've gotten some questions about how "essential" this boot camp is, and whether it would be too basic for most search marketers. At the last boot camp, we had several advanced search marketers from major e-tailers that spend millions on search each year. At the end of the day, they came up to me and said that the material was excellent and drove their thinking forward -- one even said that it was by far the best seminar she had attended in years.

You can imagine my relief and excitement! It's a continual challenge to create an agenda that can bring "newbies" up to speed but also provide new material and insights to people who consider themselves "search pros". One of the best things - just being able to talk among ourselves about our questions, concerns, and ideas about search marketing.

One of the best parts was the panel at the end of the day that helps pull everything together. So far, we have confirmed participation from Avenue A/Razorfish and iProspect and I'm waiting for confirmation from two search engines.
